Our first philanthropic partner, Friends of the Yampa
Ever since we started visiting Steamboat for fun, our trips tend to around the Yampa River, regardless of season.
We love leaving our windows open at night to let the natural white noise send us to sleep, riding bikes on the path and over the bridges to take in various views and watch seasons change, and we love bringing our dogs to the river to watch them swim and play fetch in their favorite place.
Because of this connection, one of the first decisions we made as we started building Steamboat Mercantile was to build a partnership with Friends of the Yampa. We have watched the good work they do to preserve and maintain the river, to support the river-loving community and to build a community of their own that fiercely protects the river we all love.
This summer, we have designed custom Kleen Kanteen resuable pint cups in partnership with Friends of the Yampa. All proceeds from every sale will go directly to their organization, to help support the good work they do. We hope you will drop by this weekend to pick up a couple, and lend your support!
